The Opportunity:
As a Construction Foreman, you will serve as a vital on-site leader, directly managing internal crews and coordinating daily carpentry and field operations. This working leadership role allows you to combine your hands-on trade skills with your passion for mentoring teams. You will collaborate closely with superintendents and upper management in an environment that prioritizes clear communication and keeps the process simple.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Complete and direct daily hands-on carpentry work while guiding the field activities of on-site personnel.
- Coordinate field labor, equipment, and materials to maintain high project productivity and strict schedule alignment.
- Read and interpret project blueprints, structural specifications, scopes of work, and scheduling timelines accurately.
- Enforce strict site safety protocols and OSHA standards to keep your crew protected and compliant.
- Monitor ongoing quality control to ensure all craftsmanship meets precise company and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate daily field documentation, including progress reports, timecards, and production records.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of related construction supervisory and leadership experience.
- Proven track record as a strong listener who takes direction and advice well from superintendents and office management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage field crews while remaining hardworking and adaptable.
- Strong knowledge of building methods, materials, and structural blueprints for residential and commercial spaces.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience training, mentoring, and developing junior crew members or apprentices on active jobsites.
- High proficiency in managing material allocations and tracking tool inventory to eliminate waste.
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30 certifications.
- Proven experience handling shifting priorities smoothly while keeping field operations on schedule.
