Construction Superintendent – Lead Commercial Projects for BCC General Contractor


Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will take complete ownership of on-site commercial operations, driving high-impact projects from site setup to final turnover. This role gives you the independence to manage jobsites without corporate micromanagement, backed by direct access to company leadership. You will lead diverse builds while shaping your long-term career.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Manage and supervise all daily on-site construction activities, field crews, and subcontractors.
  • Preside over weekly subcontractor coordination meetings to maintain schedule alignment and momentum.
  • Issue notices of non-compliance to hold subcontractors accountable for quality and timeline targets.
  • Inspect work daily to verify installations match project plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Coordinate site deliveries, trade sequencing, and municipal inspections to prevent operational delays.
  • Maintain complete daily written logs, track RFIs, and submit accurate field status reports.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5 or more years of verifiable leadership experience in commercial construction management.
  • In-depth practical knowledge of multi-trade construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Proven track record of managing project schedules, site logistics, and trade productivity.
  • Strong leadership ability to hold subcontractors accountable and resolve complex field challenges.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior construction superintendent experience on commercial builds.
  • Advanced proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
