Job Foreman – Lead Commercial Electrical & Controls Field Operations for Pace Electric Inc

The Opportunity:

You will drive daily field operations for high-profile commercial electrical projects, taking full ownership of project sequencing, crew safety, and quality execution. This leadership role gives you the platform to mentor talent and optimize project workflow within an organization that genuinely invests in your career growth and personal well-being.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Plan daily and weekly work sequencing, assigning field tasks to apprentices and journeymen based on skill level.
• Read and interpret complex project drawings, specs, and submittals to accurately lay out site work.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE compliance, and regular toolbox talks.
• Perform rigorous quality control checks on all installed commercial systems prior to cover-up and inspections.
• Track labor hours, materials, and field progress daily, reporting updates directly to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with other trade foremen on site while mentoring crew members to ensure top-tier performance.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Utah State Journeyman License.
• Strong practical knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and commercial installation practices.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally up to 10% of working hours.
• High-level attention to detail, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience leading field operations on commercial electrical projects.
• High School Diploma, GED, or completion of a Trade Program / Technical Certification.
