Job Overview
Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning is seeking motivated HVAC Installer Helpers who are eager to learn the trade and grow quickly within the company. This role is designed for individuals who want more than a typical helper position—you will work alongside experienced Lead Installers and receive hands-on training with the goal of advancing into a Lead Installer role as your skills develop.
In this position, you will assist with residential and light commercial HVAC installations, learn industry best practices, and develop the technical knowledge required to eventually manage installations independently. If you have some HVAC experience, basic tools, and a strong work ethic, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that invests in its team.

Key Responsibilities
Assist Lead Installers with residential and light commercial HVAC installations
Learn HVAC installation procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices
Load, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment for each project
Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
Support installation teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and correctly
Interact professionally with customers while on job sites
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Develop the technical knowledge and installation skills needed to advance into a Lead Installer role
Qualifications
1+ year of HVAC installation helper experience preferred
Strong desire to grow into a Lead Installer role
Basic HVAC installation tools
Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work in Florida heat and physically demanding environments
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license
