Superintendent – Lead Commercial and Public-Sector Field Operations for 3i

The Opportunity

You will serve as the primary field leader driving commercial and public-sector projects safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards from mobilization through closeout. This role empowers you to own daily jobsite operations, subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and safety while working within a supportive culture that values your leadership. You will make a direct impact by protecting project performance and building strong relationships grounded in integrity.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Direct daily on-site construction activities, field personnel, and trade partners to ensure work complies with approved plans, specifications, and codes.
  • Manage mobilization, access, laydown, security, SWPPP, and site logistics to maintain a clean, organized, and secure jobsite.
  • Enforce a safety-first jobsite culture by conducting daily safety briefings, reviewing JHAs, and maintaining OSHA compliance.
  • Partner with the Project Manager to create baseline plans, manage weekly look-ahead schedules, and mitigate sequencing delays early.
  • Perform regular quality control inspections, resolve constructability issues, and protect finished work from damage.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, maintain audit-ready daily reports, and manage site inspections through final Certificate of Occupancy.
  • Coordinate final punch lists, utility transfers, owner training, and turnover documentation to achieve seamless project closeout.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 6+ years of commercial construction experience with proven supervisory or Superintendent-level field leadership.
  • Active OSHA 30 Certification and Procore Project Management License.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites as required.
  • Hands-on proficiency using Procore and Bluebeam for field documentation and plan review.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-trade sequencing, site logistics, SWPPP, and jobsite safety.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Supervisory experience on public-sector projects such as K-12, aviation, municipal, or government facilities.
  • Working knowledge of CMAR and CSP project delivery methods.
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000.
