Vac Truck Operator – Drive Essential Heavy Infrastructure Cleaning for Cobra Environmental Inc


Job Overview:

The Opportunity

You will serve as a key frontline operator driving heavy combination vacuum and jetter trucks across major civil infrastructure projects. You will take ownership of advanced pipe cleaning equipment while preparing lines for inspection and CIPP lining operations. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Safely operate combination vacuum and jetter trucks to clean gravity sewer mains, storm systems, and manholes.
  • Execute complete job site setups including Maintenance of Traffic controls, safety cones, and signage.
  • Select and adjust specialized nozzles, hoses, and equipment based on specific pipe materials and blockage conditions.
  • Manage water consumption, debris tank capacity, and proper waste offloading in accordance with local environmental regulations.
  • Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections to keep your rig operating at peak performance.
  • Coordinate directly with CCTV and CIPP field crews to ensure lines are thoroughly cleaned and ready for processing.
  • Complete accurate daily job reports, footage tracking logs, and field time records.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating combination sewer and vacuum trucks or a strong heavy-equipment background.
  • Valid CDL Class B driver's license with Tanker Endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated self-starter mindset with strong proactive planning and organizational abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs, manage heavy hoses, and work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  • Commitment to arriving early, maintaining equipment, and pursuing continuous technical skill growth.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • CDL Class A driver's license or Hazmat endorsement.
  • Active OSHA 10/30, Confined Space Entry, or MOT/TTC safety certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Vac-Con, Vactor, Vacall, or similar recycler and jet-vac equipment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
